Project Supports Conference of Georgian Medical Diaspora in US

To improve provider access to modern evidence-based treatment, on June 21 and June 22, USAID Georgia Health Improvement Project together with USAID Project SUSTAIN and Georgian American Public Health Association (GAMPHA) held medical conference.  About 12 representatives of Georgian Medical Diaspora in the US  presented at the conference and share evidence based best practices, their knowledge and experiences in various clinical fields to their Georgian counterparts. The 2 day conference involved multiple presentations, case-study discussions and clinical case reviews in 3 clinical blocks (cardiology, pulmonology and infectious diseases) and plenary sessions.
